ENTRUST Solutions Group has announced its newly formed sector, EN Renewables. The new sector, the company’s seventh, joins EN Engineering, EN Automation, EN Communications, EN Consulting, EN Data Solutions, and EN Field Services. EN Renewables will focus on serving both the renewable power and renewable gas markets.
EN Renewables will expand upon the work ENTRUST already performs for investor-owned utilities, local distribution companies, midstream operators, developers, and technology partners. With collaboration from the other six sectors, EN Renewables will develop and implement renewable projects, provide reliable and cost-effective engineering and consulting solutions, and deliver high-quality results.
Alongside the broader ENTRUST team, EN Renewables partners with clients to support their battery storage, hydrogen, RNG, wind, solar, EV infrastructure, and microgrid projects with several critical services. These services include feasibility studies, design, consulting, federal grant support, and project management to complete projects on time and within budget.
EN Renewables’ electrical capabilities are vast and include solutions to drive successful projects from planning to completion for our clients. ENTRUST can perform front-end studies including siting and permitting as well as transmission and distribution interconnection studies for solar, battery, and wind-type projects. Additionally, EN Renewables provides detailed engineering and design for solar and battery storage projects as well as assistance with regulatory environmental requirements such as spill plans (SPCC) and stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPP).
Our team of industry experts oversees commissioning and startup activities with all renewable-type sites including the execution of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) modeling, data, and analysis standards (MOD) compliance activities. Our strong relationships with the ISO and RTO entities can assist clients in navigating through their processes and procedures.
Renewable gas provides new and existing clients with low-carbon alternatives and solutions focused on Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), Hydrogen, and Carbon Capture Use & Storage (CCUS) projects. ENTRUST can complete technical aspects of designing the interconnects for these projects and utilizes its operational expertise to ensure management of change using safety management systems (SMS), operational standards, as well as metallurgical and corrosion design to ensure safe and reliable services.
